For 9 years, The P.A. People has worked on this iconic event – and for 2019, successfully providing PA, two-way radio, race control video wall, event UPS and site wide CCTV services.

Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix 2018

Campbell Waller, head of Event Communications for The P.A. People said: “this was another successful year, delivering the audio/comms solution for this significant event. In summary, 3 x truck-loads of equipment, a three-week set-up and 27 staff were involved.”

The Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit is built every year partially utilising public road sections around Albert Park Lake (a small man-altered lake) south of Melbourne’s main business district. In preparation for the event, work starts two months prior to the race – erecting trackside fencing, pedestrian overpasses, grandstands and other motorsport infrastructure. All infrastructure is then removed within six weeks of the final race.
