The P.A. People summer of Cricket

… event comms support for games, ceremonies & celebrations

Over the summer holiday period The P.A. People Event Communications team have been busy supporting various cricket matches at the Sydney Cricket Ground. The Sydney Sixers Big Bash League (BBL) Games held between the 23rd of December and the 23rd of January are one of the events supported by our team, an Audio Operator, Field Assistant and a Comms Technician. The Event Communications team were responsible for the supply and integration of two-way radio communications with the existing SCG communications system, covering two channels for the floor manager and camera communications.

The Event Communications team were also involved in the Magellan Ashes 5th test matches held on the 4th and 8th of January at the SCG, and supported the National Anthem ceremony including the Qantas choir and the post-match presentation.
