The Australian Club completed upgrade works to the main dining room in March 2006. This included the inclusion of a suite of technical services. The primary function of these systems is to support live recitals and concerts for Members and their guests. Meetings, presentations and formal dinners also require technical support.
To meet these needs, a high-quality sound reinforcement system was installed along with an above-ceiling lighting system to discretely enhance the two stage areas. A video projector and screen were also installed on motorised lifts to stow the equipment above the ceiling when not required.
