A complete wired communications system was provided at Stadium Australia for the Olympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies including 18 ClearCom display stations, over 150 Creative Audio beltpacs on 18 different rings, Creative Audio Command Centres, constant-transmit radio bases and three FM transmitters.

The P.A. People managed over 950 two-way radios for these ceremonies. Custom radio tracking software was developed specifically for these events. A complete optic fibre and cat-5 network was installed as part of the communications system. We believe the system was the single most complex event communications system ever undertaken in Australia at the time.

For the Paralympics, The P.A. People role increased to design implementation and management of the communications system for the Ceremonies.
