New Motorola MOTOTRBO Two Way Radio Fleet
The P.A. People has a significant fleet of Motorola DP4801’s that have been selected for both their durability in event conditions and advanced features. These include: intelligent audio that automatically adjusts the radio’s volume according to conditions, text messaging, a large full colour screen that can display your event logo and allows for easy menu navigation in both broad daylight and night time modes.
Orion Network Partnership – Major Event Partner
The P.A. People is also proudly the exclusive major event partner operating on the Orion digital two -way radio network.
Our partnership with the Orion network allows our customers the dual benefits of radio coverage on a national citywide, multisite network with the underlying expertise of a company that specialises in the needs of events – Australia’s leading Event Communications supplier.
Not only are we able to work closely with the Orion team to ensure that the network is optimised for specific events, but we also now have the unique ability to integrate the radio network with our other communications products including wired matrix communications via an IP based connection. This is an important point of difference which provides a seamless user experience between the communications system and the two way radios, which is especially suitable for events with stage management and/or event control centers.
Traditionally this level of interface with a digital radio network can only be achieved via the use of local base radios connecting to the network “over the air”, a methodology which we were keen to avoid.
The Orion network provides significant coverage in all major capital cities around Australia. The partnership will also see us being able to deliver additional services to our customers such as interstate multi-site roaming, and in the future GPS tracking – ideal for advanced touring personnel and multisite, multistage events.
Importantly, as a fully engineered network, the level of redundancy offered within the network allows for seamless transition between network sites should there be a critical failure.
Analogue and Base Radio Systems
Our digital radio offering is complemented by a large fleet of analogue radios that can also be fully integrated with our wired and wireless communication systems. We have a large stock of Motorola GP338 128ch two way radios, coupled with a large range of accessories that sets them apart. Each radio is supplied as standard with a battery charger slot and allowance of 50% spare batteries.
Our base radio systems from RF Technology feature hot swappable modules for the Transmit and Receive sections, ensuring the highest possible reliability. Each radio is capable of constant transmit operation and has comprehensive audio interfacing capability.
Our simplex base radios are dual rack mounted Motorola GM338 units, fitted with power supplies and a custom RJ45 audio interface. They are ideal for providing a Push To Talk interface between two way radios and matrix intercom systems.
All our Base radios are configured with comprehensive multi-coupling and filtering, which we believe is unique to The P.A. People. This ensures radios do not interfere with each other, particularly in larger systems, nor will they be subject to interference from outside sources.
Accessories
Both our digital and analogue two way radio solutions are complemented by a large range of accessories to suit most applications. This includes covert ear pieces, remote speaker mics, spare batteries and chargers.
Our event experience has also led to the development of a customized push to talk (PTT) adapter that allows for the connection of traditional 4pin headsets. We have a large range of single and dual muff headsets from a number of manufacturers including Clear-Com and Beyer as well as noise cancelling headsets from Beyer and Peltor.
