… Rebecca Suseno – Service Consultant
Throughout the years, Rebecca has developed relationships with many of our customers and suppliers, and in return, their trust in her has resulted in quick product turnarounds, speedy repairs, thousands of hours of phone support and reliably repeatable system repairs. She sincerely enjoys working closely with her team and likes seeing the end results in the projects that she works on.
Rebecca joined the PAP family in 2007 post completion of a Business Administration course. She accepted a full-time position with us which saw her covering both Receptionist duties as well as a Service Administration role due to the expansion of the department. Less than twelve months later, the service department had grown again and Bec accepted the fulltime position of Service Consultant. Her role was to coordinate the on-road and bench technicians each day. The department was still relatively small and the Service Consultant role included logging urgent service repairs, coordinating competing demands in order to meet customer deadlines, report writing and invoicing.
The Service Department has grown further and now forms the largest component of the Sales Hire Service division. Further changes to the management of the department now sees Bec responsible for coordinating six technicians, a number of contracts, managing all of our customers who are not on service agreements – and some that are. The department has diversified to assist our customers meet their own challenging deadlines with what has fondly been termed “mini-installs”. These tiny installation jobs can include a site visit by a qualified technician in the morning, a quote to add a few extra speakers compiled during the day and received by our customer in the afternoon, and an installation the next day. Bec’s knowledge of parts and products is now sizable and for most of our customers, she is the go-to resource for every audio or AV thing that isn’t behaving itself!
