Since the Melbourne Commonwealth Games in 2006 The P.A. People has utilised IP based video technology within our Event Communications offering. In recent years we have had the opportunity to expand our event based offering into the Installed Systems arm of the Company and into the IPTV market.
In 2011 we were successful in the design and supply of IPTV systems into both Carrara Stadium (now Metricon Stadium) and Canberra Stadium. This was shortly followed in 2012 with the provision of a system for the Sydney Showgrounds Stadium.
Our most recent and significant IPTV system can be found at the Royal Randwick Racecourse redevelopment. This system features some sixty channels of content, 30 pages of digital signage, and over 700 screens ranging from 21” touchscreen PC’s through to 84” TV’s . The project includes the design and implementation of a specialist Ethernet Network that spans the entire precinct with over 1,000 network ports as well as the installation of the IPTV head-end and all the screens.
The systems in each of these venues have been delivered under a design-construct philosophy, and the implementations have ranged from full turnkey designs including the network and screens through to the delivery of just IPTV technology itself.
Recently, with the addition of an optional middleware package from Enabledware we are also able to provide a comprehensive integrated signage solution.
The P.A. People is an Exterity Platinum Streamforce Partner, and an experienced Spinetix integrator. We have also worked with IPTV solutions from Visionary Solutions, Mediaware, and Amino amongst others and we are able to offer a comprehensive IPTV solution complete with long term maintenance and support.
