… Blacktown Girls High, Randwick Boys High & Ascham School

The Installed Systems team have continued to support schools within the wider Sydney area with complete PA system upgrades and smaller school hall installs.

Blacktown Girls High School required a site-wide upgrade of their PA system due to poor audio coverage in certain areas of the school. We provided a complete upgrade from paging microphones, radio mics, alert tones and school bells, driven by new amplifiers and an all new cable infrastructure. New internal and external speakers and horns were also included.

The new system allowed them to choose various sounds for the bells and the school chose to use uplifting songs for the audio.

The Installed Systems team partnered with Jands to deliver a School hall upgrade for Randwick Boys High School. Jands provided the system design and product selection and we implemented the new system. The hall upgrade included a SoundCraft mixer with iPad control, 4 x Shure radio mics, a pre-existing DBX processor, new Crown amplifiers together with a new Blue gum lectern.

The Ascham School installation project was another hall upgrade which utilised the BOSE T8S ToneMatch mixer, a pair of BOSE Panaray MA12 Line Array Loudspeakers together with a BOSE MB210 compact subwoofer, coupled with the Bose PowerShare PS604A Adaptable Power Amplifier amplifier. The school wanted the ability to stream audio from portable devices, so the BOSE SoundTouch wireless link adaptor was used to supply a cost effective solution that could connect devices via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
