… cultural events, sports coverage and festivals
The P.A. People Event Communications team has been busy over the summer period supporting a number of events. The City of Sydney again enlisted the expertise of our events team for the communications for the New Year’s Eve fireworks. Several events required SPLnet noise monitoring including the Domain New Year’s Day Field Day event, Centennial Park for Electric Gardens and the Sydney Opera House for Australia Day.
The National Cricket inclusion championships were held in Geelong Victoria in January and The P.A. People supplied their 2 way radios for city-wide and local on-ground communications.
We also provided support to Sydney’s stadiums for Sydney Football Club, The KFC Big Bash (BBL), One Day International cricket, International test matches and the Rugby 7’s. The team also supported the tennis at the APIA International in Sydney.
The P.A. People is again pleased to have been chosen to supply CCTV and technology systems for the St Kilda Festival for the next 3 years. The 2017 Festival went well, even if the weather was unkind on the Festival Sunday with winds reaching the high sixty Km/hr levels.
