The P.A. People is proud of our association with the range of conference electronics manufactured by Danish Interpretation Systems.
The product range comprises three broad areas:
Conference Discussion Systems
The DIS range of Conference Discussion Systems comprise the DCS5900 series and the digital DCS6000 series. The DC6900P features the world’s first conference delegate unit with a fully customisable colour touch screen.
The P.A. People have supplied DIS Conference Discussion Systems to a number of prestigious Australian clients including:
- NSW Parliament House Committee Rooms
- City of Sydney Council Chamber
- Shoalhaven Council Chamber
- City of Manningham Council Chamber
- NSW Police Service
- North Sydney Council
Delegate voting systems
Delegate Voting Systems are exemplified in Australia by the system supplied and installed as part of the Tumbalong auditorium located in the now closed Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. The system comprised some 500 dual delegate stations, each complete with microphone and three button parliamentary voting system.
More recently, we have provided a number of systems to Local Councils around Australia that incorporate voting solutions.
Simultaneous Interpretation Systems
Although not often used in Australia, DIS are one of the world’s leading suppliers of Simultaneous Interpretations systems. Configurations are available with up to 32 languages.
The P.A. People have provided SI systems on a rental basis for a number of international events in Australia including the World Council of Churches gathering in Canberra in 1991, along with the installation of SI system infrastructure in the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
