Central Coast Stadium is situated on the Central Coast Highway in Gosford adjacent to the Brian McGowan Bridge and has played host to many events including international Rugby, National A-League Football, National Rugby League, boxing, motor cross, rock concerts and various community events.
The P.A. People provided a full stadium audio upgrade to improve the sound quality in the stadium which includes improvements to the coverage pattern of the speaker system.
The system utilises various JBL speakers from the All Weather Compact and Precision Directivity series including JBL AWC 159, JBL AWC 129, JBL AWC 62, JBL PD544WRX. A 135-foot boom lift was required to hang the speakers on the leading edge of the grandstands.
The speakers are powered by Crown DCi 4/2400 amplifiers. The system is controlled with a BSS BLU-100 DSP and a BSS EC-4B-BK Wall Controller.
New Shure QLXD radio microphone systems have been installed along with RF distribution & remote antennas.
The P.A. People has worked with Central Coast Council in the past on various projects including The Arthouse Theatre, Wyong.
