The P.A. People design and install audio and video systems tailored to the needs of modern learning facilities. One such solution is NCH TimeChimes which The P.A. People have installed in hundreds of schools. NCH TimeChimes is a user friendly program that can be loaded onto an existing PC and then interfaced with the PA system. No more boring bells, you can load any wave file you need - even the school song!

Technical Capabilities

TimeChimes works using a list of times during the day when sounds will be played. Each day of the week can have its own list of times and sounds. You can also customise the timetable for a 2 week cycle, altering the schedule for each week.

The various features include:

  • Plays bells, chimes or any other sounds at pre-set times.
  • Can schedule times for automatic play on each day of the week.
  • Easy editing and update of schedules.
  • Includes 9 pre-recorded bell type sounds.
  • Supports other wav and mp3 formats if you wish to customise bell sounds.
  • Easy to use for day to day operations.

Since 1964, The Wayside Chapel in King’s Cross has been providing ‘practical love’, acceptance and support to all members of its community, especially those doing it rough. With comprehensive programmes covering physical and mental health, indigenous issues and youth at risk, the Chapel lives by its motto “Love over Hate”. The Reverend Graham Long, Pastor and CEO of Wayside, was nominated in the Australian of the Year Awards, as National Finalist - Australia's Local Hero 2014.

In the past year alone, Wayside has provided, amongst other services, 8,089 community meals, 7,572 changes of clothing, 8,475 one-on-one support sessions, 2,453 referrals to services and agencies and 653 activities for young people and visitors with long term mental health issues.

With the summer season fast approaching The P.A. People is once again gearing up for it's involvement in the 2013 Sydney New Year's Eve fireworks spectacular. With the world looking on as the “Sydney New Year’s Eve 2013 Capital of the World”  is showcased in all it’s glory , our involvement behind the scenes in the design and provision of an event control and data communications solution is integral to the event’s success and ongoing reputation.
